Job summary

GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Supervisor to oversee autonomous vehicle pilots and the human operators ensuring safe daily execution.

You will manage shift rosters, coordinate with hiring and training teams, and act as a primary point of contact during incidents, driving continuous improvement of SOPs and KPIs for the fleet. The role reports to the Manager, Fleet Operations (Autonomous Vehicle) in our Tampines office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
• Experience managing shift-based operational teams in live environments.
• Technical knowledge of autonomous vehicles, robotics, or IoT deployments is a plus.
• Experience supervising drivers, operators, or field-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safety supervisors, in-vehicle and remote operators to ensure safe daily operations.
• Manage driver and operator scheduling, timekeeping, and onboarding with hiring/training teams.
• Lead daily AV service operations across field deployments and command center activities.
• Coordinate escalation workflows for operational disruptions, AV anomalies, or vehicle faults.
• Serve as point of contact for in-field events, including faults or incidents.
• Develop and implement SOPs and KPIs for fleet performance.

Get to know the Role

You will play an important role within the business team leading the execution of autonomous vehicle pilots. You will be someone on the ground, directly overseeing the human operators who are essential to our daily service. This role is a blend of people management, operational planning, and incident response, focusing on the safe and efficient execution of our AV missions.

You will report to the Manager, Fleet Operations (Autonomous Vehicle) in our Tampines office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Serve as the primary supervisor for our team of safety supervisors, in-vehicle safety operators, and remote operators. Your main responsibility is to ensure they are performing their duties safely and effectively during daily operations.


• Manage all aspects of driver and operator scheduling, including shift assignments and timekeeping. Collaborate with hiring and training teams on the hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of all operational staff


• Lead daily AV service operations across field deployments and command center activities, ensuring safe and reliable mission execution.


• Coordinate command center escalation workflows for operational disruptions, autonomous system anomalies, vehicle faults, or incidents.


• Serve as a PoC for all in-field events, including vehicle-level faults, collisions, or unexpected autonomous system behavior.


• Develop and implement operational guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics (KPIs) for the fleet.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Diploma or Degree holders


• 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, or fleet management


• Experience managing shift-based operational teams in live operational environments


• Technical knowledge or direct experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics or IoT deployments is a plus


• Demonstrated experience supervising drivers, operators, or a field-based team is required


• Familiarity with safety management systems and risk assessment methodologies


• Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, mobility platforms, or remote operations systems is a strong plus


• Comfortable working in fast-changing operational environments with evolving processes and technologies


• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills


• Clear and articulate communication with the ability to coordinate effectively during high-pressure operational events
