Assistant Manager - Network Demand Management
Job Description:

Salary Range: Up to $7,500.00
This is a Permanent role.
We are looking for a technical lead for Campus Network demand consultation and architectural level discussion. The role will be responsible for demand management, network project support from central ITT organization for all network services (LAN/WiFi/Security/SD-WAN/NW-Services and passive infrastructure). Furthermore, the incumbent is required to ensure the realization of the transformation goals of the locations, support and consult in planning #TAF related network topics (business projects, transformation). The incumbent will also act as a subject matter expert and be involved in the discussion for the technical design of large complex Enterprise Unified Communications Infrastructure and Collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support all topics of ITT/TN department e.g. Campus Network, SDWAN, Campus Network Netsec, SITS, and all other upcoming topics.
- Support the CMO RTC service owner to maintain the service planning and general service continuity e.g. Telephony, Mobile communication and Video Conference standards in APAC.
- Maintain the Real-Time communication shared services that are being rolled out in the APAC region with particular attention to ITIL-based processes and standardization across APAC to increase overall business with the markets.
- Gather local demand in services and adjust service portfolio of SSC accordingly.
- Maintain service availability within cost and efficiency constraints.
- Provide consulting support (NDM Role) for local network contacts in APAC on all topics of Campus Network.
- Provide consultation to CMO RTC service teams, acting as Subject Matter Expert to central ITlx departments in Real-Time Communication topics related to company standards, architectures, and products.
- Act as Regional Governance function for Real-Time Communication demands.
- Ensure the quality and continuity of the Real-Time Communication service operation in the APAC region.
- Manage the third-party operators.
3. Real Time Communication
- Manage the whole process of service design, service transition, and service operation of Real-time communication services such as IP Telephony, Call Center, Efax, Softphone, and Video Communication infrastructure.
- Enforce alignment with the architecture to global organization standards for Real-Time Communication technologies.
- Manage implementation of any Real Time Communication related projects.
4. General Network topics
- Act as the single point of contact in the APAC region for all NDM role, Campus Network topics, and Real-Time Communication related topics.
- Consult and support information exchange between regional shared service teams and central ITx departments e.g. Client, Server, AD, Identity Management, Security, and Network related topics.
- Support requests from central or local CoC's for application hosting in the APAC region in terms of technical consultation and cost calculation for shared services.
- Provide introduction and training of regional staff for a newly established process/tool for managing the Organization application access for BPs and JV partners in APAC.
5. Budget/Costs (Planning)
- Support line manager in performing budget planning and spending.
- Maintain/track the shared service SLA with the internal customer in the APAC region.
Requirement:
- Degree from a reputable university or significant coursework in Computer Science, Networking, engineering, or other computer-related fields of study.
- Proficient in Project Management, Cisco Network Engineering certification, VOIP, and Video Conference technologies.
- HP/Aruba related technology.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Project Management, Campus Network design, architecture, technology, deployment model, Firewall, IDS/IPS, and general network security concepts.
- Proficient understanding and strong experience in Call Center design, deployment, troubleshooting, Unify VOIP products (OpenScape series), Polycom infrastructure products such as Polycom RMX, Polycom DMA, VBP, as well as Polycom endpoints.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Cisco VC infrastructure products such as Cisco VCSx, CUCM, TMS, as well as Cisco endpoints.
- Knowledgeable in LAN and WAN technologies, especially to support the Real-time Communication application and in the Telecommunication as a Service product such as Unify Circuit, Cisco Spark, Skype for Business.
- Proficient understanding in CTI integration with CRM applications like Salesforce.com, PEGA, BMC Remedy.
- Excellent working technical knowledge and understanding of Network Routing, Switching, Network WLAN technology, design and architecture, SDWAN technology, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Video Conferencing/Streaming, Call Center design, implementation and troubleshooting, Computer and LAN Configuration, Computers/Networks and Devices, Communication Systems, and Communication Security.
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of Network Management System (NMS) / Operations Support System (OSS), Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, Cisco Jabber, Voice Gateway, Unified Communications, Call Control, Unity Connection, Voice Mail, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), TelePresence, Polycom Video Conferencing, Call Routing, Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), Direct Inward Dialing (DID), Dialed Number Identification Service (DNIS), Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Private Branch Exchange (PBX), and Fax/eFax.
