KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) is a non-profit organization, incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Sep 2020 to support low-income families with children 0-6 years old in child development, especially through the KidSTART programme.
Description of Division/Branch
Marketing communication will be in charge of portraying and branding KidSTART as the go-to nonprofit organization for all eligible low-income families. The team will coordinate and execute MarCom activities and initiatives while maintaining good media and partner relations. The team’s goal will be to promote the KidSTART programme, people and stories in a soft, positive and approachable way.
Responsibilities
Branding
- Ideate and develop creative communication products that will promote KidSTART and its programs, people and stories. Inclusive of conducting branded photoshoots and video shoots.
- Dissemination & enforcement of branding guidelines within KSL and external stakeholders.
- Manage inventory of collaterals and KS publicity materials. Keep track of existing and outgoing collaterals and stocks.
PR & Media
- Supports liaison and coordination work between internal stakeholders and media personnel.
- Support Human Interest Story bank & KidSTART Ambassadors programme, ensuring up to date records of media features, photo library and family information / profile.
- Main liaison with PR Agency to coordinate requests and work plans.
- Support any PR related events and initiatives (eg: spokespersons workshops, PR related photoshoots, media / influencer engagements.)
Social Media and Digital Marketing
- Coordinate and ideate new ideas for KidSTART owned social platforms (eg: IG, FB & LinkedIn).
- Support in production of reels, from conceptualising to postproduction.
- Handle reports & follow closely to the targets set for social media and present new ideas.
- Support & monitor SEM, SEO and paid media initiatives.
- Design visual content where necessary.
Event support & Communication related administration
- Support in KidSTART’s 5th Year anniversary event and publicity efforts.
- Liaising with vendors & raising AORs for submission.
- Manage & update database such as CRM systems and others where necessary.
- Collation of website updates & liaison with web vendor for timely updates
Qualifications/Competencies
- Fresh graduate or Diploma with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in the social service or non-profit sector or related sector
- Strong command in English and proficiency in a mother tongue language is an advantage.
- Highly organised and able to handle projects timely and effectively with an eye for details
- Excellent independent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good facilitation skills and ability to engage and influence different stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of media and social trends to support new ideas and work
- Design knowledge and video editing skills is an advantage (Eg. Photoshop, Illustrator and Video Premier)
