About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to support trade marketing and demand generation initiatives that drive advertiser engagement and revenue. This role will play a key part in executing campaigns, creating marketing collateral, and generating demand through multi-channel strategies. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and results-driven.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Planning and Marketing Assets
Plan and execute demand generation campaigns across digital, print, and event channels to attract and convert advertisers.
Assist in managing lead flow, ensuring efficient handovers to the sales team, and tracking conversion rates.
Optimize content and campaigns based on performance insights to enhance engagement and ROI.
Develop advertiser-focused materials such as media kits, presentations, and success stories to support sales efforts.
Marketing and Communication
Create engaging marketing content, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, and social media posts.
Support the execution of communication strategies, ensuring consistency across all channels.
Assist in planning and promoting events, webinars, and workshops aimed at advertisers.
Leverage research insights to enhance messaging and build thought leadership.
Collaboration and Resource Management
Work closely with sales, creative, and research teams to align on goals and deliverables.
Assist in budget tracking and vendor coordination for campaigns and content production.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2-4+ years of experience in trade marketing, content marketing, or market research, preferably in the media/publishing industry, or agencies.
Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Google Analytics, and basic understanding of research tools like Nielsen or Comscore.
Strong writing, design, and presentation skills to create impactful marketing materials.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Please note that this position will be on a 2-year contract.
