Job description

Role Responsibilities
  1. Achieve sales targets by promoting the Company’s Forwarding Business and acquiring new potential customers to expand the customer portfolio.
  2. Identify new and existing business opportunities in Forwarding & 3PL, establish and develop pipelines, segment and manage Key Account customers, develop new business, and strengthen business relationships.
  3. Act as the main contact for customer communication, liaise with operations teams and overseas offices, and ensure inquiries, problems, and issues are handled professionally.
  4. Collaborate with overseas agents, sharing customer and market information.
  5. Assist superiors in preparing monthly pipeline updates, targeting customers, tracking achievements, and reviewing business operations and plans.
  6. Generate sales leads and identify new opportunities.
  7. Participate in sales strategy formulation and activities.
  8. Assess customer needs and match these with the Company’s services to acquire new business.
  9. Support Senior/Sales Managers in preparing weekly/monthly reports on pipelines, sales targets, budgeting, and reviewing new opportunities and business plans.
  10. Achieve and monitor customer KPIs and initiatives to ensure delivery of quality, reliable, and scalable services to meet customer satisfaction.
  11. Deliver volume and revenue targets for forwarding sales channels while focusing on relationship building and profitable sales growth.
  12. Guide junior and new sales staff, providing on-the-job training and shadowing to support their success.
Role Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of customer-facing sales experience, with a strong background in customer acquisition and account management within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong selling, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent personal presentation and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Self-motivated and driven to plan and execute sales strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently.
