Job description

What the role is:

The People & Culture (P&C) department exists to make NAC a place where staff feel passionate in their jobs, empowered to be creative, and collaborate well with each other, in order to fulfil NAC’s mission.

The role will involve the following:

Learning and Development:

- Support training ops

- Supporting NAC’s competency mapping exercise

Organisation transformation:

- Drive NAC’s Employer Branding initiatives, working closely with the manager to strengthen NAC's reputation as an employer of choice

- Support employee engagement to build a OneNAC Culture

- Support org transformation interventions, where needed

You will be responsible for: -

Learning and Development:

- Support training ops – putting up training requests, monitoring training completion rates and budget utilisation

- Support NAC functional competency mapping exercise, where needed – e.g. updating workday records

What you will be working on:

Learning and Development:

  • Support training ops – putting up training requests, monitoring training completion rates and budget utilisation
  • Support NAC functional competency mapping exercise, where needed – e.g. updating workday records

Organisation Transformation:

  • Drive external facing employer branding initiatives, working closely with the manager to strengthen NAC's reputation as an employer of choice (e.g. crafting LinkedIn posts)
  • Assist in organising and maintaining employee engagement efforts through organising (or co-organising) WoNAC events, working with the team on smaller-scale engagement efforts (e.g. Senior Mgmt dialogue sessions), to build OneNAC culture and associated internal comms efforts (e.g. EDMs etc)
  • Support NAC’s organisation transformation efforts which includes monitoring post Employee Engagement Survey actions to be done by departments, as well as P&C and making recommendations of changes to keep these interventions on track.
  • Collaborate with the manager to implement an effective internal communications strategy, including maintaining NAC’s Intranet
  • Create engaging content for various internal communication channels (e.g., EDMs, intranet articles, newsletters)

What we are looking for:

  • Degree with at least 1 years of working experience in communications, human resource development and/or organisation development; with experience in corporate communications and managing stakeholders
  • An excellent communicator with strong writing skills and high standards of accuracy
  • Ability to develop professional, clear and concise communications
    materials
  • Experience with design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop or
    Illustrator) and video editing software (e.g. iMovie) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in formulating or implementing internal communication
    strategy is highly preferred.
  • Highly driven, proactive and a strong team player
