JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and supervise the Insurance team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and timely policy processing.
• Oversee end-to-end processes related to motor insurance (e.g., renewals, quotations, policy insurance, claims follow-up).
• Drive initiative to expand insurance offerings beyond motor insurance (e.g., commercial, fire, travel or property insurance).
• Liaise with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders for policy negotiation, claims updates, and coverage improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurance providers to ensure competitive terms and excellent service support
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper records of transactions and policy data.
• Prepare periodic reports and analysis for management review.
• Review and enhance insurance workflows, SOPs, and customer touchpoints.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in general insurance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge and experience in motor insurance is essential.
• Holds the following basic certifications - Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP), Commercial General Insurance (CGI) & Personal General Insurance (PGI) Certificates
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with insurance software systems is a plus.
