DESIGNATION: Assistant Manager/Manager, Marketing and Communications

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven Marketing Assistant Manager/Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to drive campaign success, audience segmentation and engagement, and marketing performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has a proven track record in performance marketing, and excels in stakeholder communication. An interest in social causes and experience or keen interest in working with an e-commerce platform are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Marketing
  • Develop and execute engaging content strategies across multiple platforms, including social media, blogs, email marketing, and digital ads.
  • Create compelling and on-brand content that resonates with the target audience and inspires action.
  • Collaborate with content creators including video production houses, influencers, and agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Lead coordination with external content/media partners.
  • Have basic knowledge of design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and simple video editing.
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with marketing objectives.
Performance Marketing & Data Analysis
  • Plan and execute paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and TikTok.
  • Monitor and optimise digital ad performance to maximise ROI and achieve campaign goals.
  • Analyse marketing data from Google Analytics, social media insights, and CRM tools to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven marketing performance reports.
  • Leverage past campaign data and case studies to inform future strategies and demonstrate measurable success.
  • Experience in working with external agencies is a plus.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams, agencies, and external partners to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration on marketing initiatives.
  • Present marketing strategies, performance reports, and insights to leadership and key decision-makers.
Requirements & Skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, and performance marketing strategies.
  • Ability to create compelling copy, visuals (with designers), and develop multimedia content.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other marketing data tools.
  • Experience managing digital ad campaigns across search, social, and display networks.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Creativity and adaptability to pivot strategies based on insights and market trends.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or related roles, with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools, SEO/SEM, and CRM platforms.
