Job summary

bd o advisory pte. ltd. invites highly motivated professionals to join our Financial Services Group in Singapore.

The team serves banking, capital markets and asset management clients with services including statutory audits, regulatory compliance advisory, governance and risk management, and internal controls. As an Assistant Manager / Manager, you will conduct risk-based audits, provide compliance advisory, assist in developing governance frameworks and lead staff coaching.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Business Law; professional qualifications considered.
• CIA or CFA qualifications are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and communication skills essential.
• Experience in financial services regulatory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based audit and compliance reviews for financial institutions.
• Provide regulatory & compliance advisory and assist clients to develop regulatory & compliance frameworks.
• Assist clients in development and implementation of good corporate governance practices and control processes.
• Coach and train junior staff to ensure high-quality delivery.

As a Assistant Manager / Manager, you will be required to:

• conduct risk-based audit and compliance review for financial institutions
• provide regulatory & compliance advisory and assist clients to develop regulatory & compliance framework

• coach/train staff

We are looking for talented individuals to join and grow with us, if you possess:

• Professional qualifications / degree in Accountancy or Business Law
• Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in financial industry
• Familiar with local regulatory requirement for the financial institutions
• Analytical, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and good inter-personal skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office Application, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) / Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification added advantage
• Service-oriented and commercially focused, confident, extremely well-organised and can analyse and make things happen, and work effectively in a highly motivated environment.
