Job description

We are looking for a dynamic individual and a team player to manage the implementation of new systems and user support of SAP ECC6 and other systems within Finance. A self-motivated, resourceful and goal achiever, the successful candidate will act as a liaison between Finance, Corporate IT and other Divisions to support on-going change requests for SAP and implementation of new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) projects.

Job Descriptions
SAP ECC6 Level 1 Support:

  • Respond promptly to user-reported issues and inquiries related to SAP ECC6 applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic system problems and configuration issues.

  • Document support tickets, including issue descriptions, resolution steps, and additional information.

  • Communicate effectively with users, explaining solutions and workarounds. Escalate complex issues to Level 2 support teams when necessary.

Enhancement Delivery:

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for change requests.

  • Work with the vendor to develop, test, and implement enhancements within the SAP ECC6 environment.

  • Ensure proper documentation and testing of all implemented enhancements.

  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with the AMS vendor to ensure continuity and build internal expertise.

Project Management for ERP & EPM Implementation:

  • Assist reporting manager to perform project management duties, including disseminating project information to project stakeholders, monitoring the progress and completion of project activities.

  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, workshops, trainings, and any project-related sessions. Organise project management committee meetings and prepare the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas and other meeting collateral.

  • Transcribe and accurately record key decisions and action items resulting from meetings.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans. Ensure project tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards. Be prepared to support in all project activities including preparation for data migration, user acceptance testing etc.

Job Requirements:

  • A good degree in Finance/Information Systems/Technology, Business IT or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, project management, vendor management support/maintenance and systems.

  • Hands-on experience in SAP ECC6 configuration and/or certification in any of the non-HR SAP modules is preferred.

  • Prior Project Management Office (PMO) experience will be an added advantage.

  • Possesses excellent communication, both written and spoken, and interpersonal skills.

  • Service oriented and forward-looking mindset.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong in teamwork, responsible and self-motivated.

  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects concurrently within tight timelines.
