Job summary

A leading industrial REIT in Singapore is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager, Finance to oversee key financial functions within their operations. The successful candidate will prepare financial statements, lead compliance matters, and assist with corporate secretarial duties. Applicants should have at least 5-7 years of experience, a degree in Accountancy or equivalent, and strong analytical skills. This full-time role requires someone meticulous, self-driven, and capable of working under pressure.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of working experience in related fields.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Audit experience preferred, REIT experience is an advantage.

Job description

Our client is a leading industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) listed on SGX with a portfolio of more than 20 properties in Singapore and a market capitalization of more than S$1 billion. They are seeking an experienced and strategic Assistant Manager/Manager, Finance to lead key functions within their REIT operations. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee the whole finance spectrum including REIT’s taxation, compliance and corporate secretarial matters.

Job description
  • Prepare and maintain the accuracy and integrity of its REIT subsidiaries, financial statements and financial processes, including cash flow monitoring and treasury related matters
  • Lead REIT compliance matters, corporate secretarial records, delegation of authority and adherence to internal controls
  • Assist in the preparation of Group Financial Statements, quarterly reporting and MAS reporting
  • Preparation of distributions to unitholders and tax computations
  • Assist in periodical financial reporting and ad hoc reports as required and liaisons with internal/external auditors/tax agents
  • Ad hoc projects as required eg sustainability reporting
Job Requirement
  • Recognised Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
  • At least 5-7 years working experience
  • Conversant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and other regulatory compliance requirements of listed companies/ REITS
  • Audit experience is preferred and prior experience working in a REIT will be an added advantage
  • Meticulous, committed, and good team player with strong analytical skills
  • Self-driven and able to work under pressure
