Job description:

The Enterprise Strategy and Planning (ESP) team is responsible for CAG's corporate strategy and planning to enhance enterprise performance. The team works closely with various clusters and divisions to ensure cohesive efforts towards CAG's mission. ESP focuses on leading and aligning the overall strategy, setting ambitious goals, fostering a strong company culture, driving business performance, analyzing market and industry trends, scrutinizing assumptions, and championing strategic initiatives.

  • You will support and drive the formulation of CAG's strategy, including strategic planning and financial strategy development, through issue framing, systems thinking, and rigorous analysis of strategic, operational, financial, and industry data.
  • You will add value by providing insights to business units and senior management on business cases, strategic and financial considerations, facilitating CAG's performance improvement. This involves reviewing business models, supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, and conducting business and financial analyses, as well as post-implementation reviews and progress monitoring.
  • You will participate in strategic initiatives and problem-solving activities across various subjects, including hypothesis development, strategic analysis, framework creation, culture building, and performance enhancement. You will identify growth opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analyses and recommend strategic actions.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong conceptual, numerical, and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data and structure complex problems logically to derive insights.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact professionally across all organizational levels, including senior management and operational teams.
  • A strategic outlook with attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
  • Effective project management, stakeholder engagement, change management, and people management skills.
  • A highly motivated, independent, resourceful, and adaptable personality who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys teamwork.
  • Proficiency in document and presentation tools, as well as data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite and other digital tools).
  • A relevant degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in strategic, corporate, or financial planning at a corporate level.
