We’re Hiring: Assistant Manager / Manager, Community Engagement (Content)
Contract Duration: 12 months (Starting Sep 2025)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (42 hours/week)
Content Track:
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to create and optimise content for the Singapore Government Developer Portal.
Translate technical concepts into engaging narratives for varied audiences (e.g. digital leaders, engineers, public officers).
Apply SEO best practices and tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Ahrefs).
Plan and write for multiple digital platforms, while developing content templates to enhance user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, communications).
Remain open to feedback and adapt quickly within deadlines.
Stay updated on industry trends to inspire fresh content ideas.
Engagement Track:
Support planning, logistics, and execution of community engagement events.
Independently run community events and manage stakeholders to co-curate content.
Draft promotional materials for channels like email and social media.
Maintain and analyse the community membership database.
Assist in additional community-related initiatives beyond events.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, Communications, or related fields.
1–2 years of relevant experience in tech or a similar industry.
Familiar with SEO practices and tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs).
Strong writing, communication, and content strategy skills.
Eagerness to learn technical topics.
Experience in events planning and AV setup is a plus.
Basic proficiency in design and editing tools (Figma, Adobe Suite).
Skilled in Excel and data analysis.
Submission of 3 writing samples (e.g. articles, blogs, reports) required.
Understanding of the software development process.
Experience producing SEO/performance reports.
Conducting user interviews for content improvement.
