Job summary

The Public Service Division is recruiting to administer the Residential Property Act 1976, regulating foreign ownership of restricted residential property in Singapore. The role covers day-to-day operations of the Land Dealings Approval Unit, including case assessment, handling enquiries, and enforcement actions.

You will review policies, prepare submissions, perform data analysis, and enhance enforcement systems. A legal background or public agency experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
• Ability to write clearly and succinctly.
• Experience in policy conceptualisation, formulation and implementation is advantageous.
• Public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, manage, and evaluate cases under the Residential Property Act 1976.
• Respond to enquiries from the public, foreign persons, and lawyers.
• Provide support for projects and review policies and submissions.
• Conduct enforcement work to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Perform data analysis and enhance LDAU’s enforcement portal and operations.
