Assistant Manager - Information Technology - APAC


We are seeking for an Assistant Manager to support our expansion growth plans. In this exciting role, the Assistant Manager will provide on-site technical support, hardware installation, troubleshooting and IT infrastructure maintenance across multiple locations.


This role will require extensive hands-on experience with Networking, system administration, hardware repairs and customer support. The ideal candidate should come will strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environment.


Key Accountabilities

  • Provide on-site installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop, server, network, and connectivity issues in corporate and remote environments
  • Support end-users with IT-related concerns, including system configurations, application support, and device setup
  • Install, configure desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and network devices
  • Perform vendor coordination and supervision in site locations and data centres
  • Maintain IT inventory, spares and asset management records
  • Execute hardware rollouts, software upgrades, and IT migrations across multiple sites.
  • Work with vendors to ensure proper installation of new IT equipment and infrastructure
  • Provide training and documentation to end-users on newly deployed systems
  • Work closely with the IT Service desk team to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Travel to client sites, remote offices, and field locations to provide hands-on IT support
  • Ensure service tickets and issues are resolved within SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Relevant IT certifications will be a plus
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT, supporting end users in Field Service, technical support or maintenance role. Experience in Network will be good
  • Experience in IT Support, Service Desk or Application support roles and prior experience in supporting VIP users
  • Good Networking setup and troubleshooting skills with good end-user workstation support and troubleshooting
  • Experience in supporting users in remote locations
  • Familiar with Microsoft environment
  • Experience in ServiceNow/Jira is a plus
