Job description

SHP is a progressive employer committed to maintaining the highest standards of workplace fairness and employee relations. We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as we strengthen our compliance with Singapore's evolving employment legislation and foster positive industrial relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Handle end-to-end employment disputes including TADM mediation and Employment Claims Tribunal (ECT) cases.
  2. Serve as internal expert on Workplace Fairness Legislation and Tripartite Guidelines.
  3. Manage union relationships and collective bargaining processes (where applicable).
  4. Handle complex employee relations matters including grievance and disciplinary actions.
  5. Train managers on fair employment practices and dispute prevention.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferable in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in employee/industrial relations.
  • Prior experience as an Industrial Relations Officer preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore employment laws and dispute resolution frameworks.
  • Good negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence for handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex employment regulations.
