As part of SingHealth’s Office of Insights & Analytics, you will play a crucial role in modernising our healthcare data infrastructure and empowering our organisation to make better-informed decisions for patient care.

Leading the implementation of our new healthcare data analytics platform, you will create a robust foundation for data-driven healthcare delivery. Your work will enable healthcare professionals to access and utilise data more effectively, ultimately contributing to enhanced patient care and improved operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include managing the implementation of a new healthcare data analytics platform in collaboration with vendors, ensuring smooth data migration from the existing data warehouse. You will establish and oversee a comprehensive data catalogue and governance platform, ensuring all data assets are properly documented, managed and secure. Through facilitating staff training on these platforms, you will champion data literacy across the organisation, fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making.

Working closely with IT teams and vendors, you will ensure our systems operate efficiently and remain current with technological advances. Your role is fundamental in strengthening our organisation's data management capabilities and advancing our mission of delivering excellent healthcare through informed decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • A Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Information System, System Engineering or related quantitative disciplines
  • A Master’s Degree would be an added advantage
  • 6 years of relevant experience preferably in data warehousing, data mining, data management, data modeling, data visualization, business analytics, with a focus on developing data-driven strategies
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in Project Management and implementation
  • Knowledge and experience working with Business intelligence tools such as Tableau and OBIEE, Data and Database organization and structure, Informatica Power Center and IDMC and Data Catalog and metadata management and administration
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills with a high degree of confidence to communicate with Senior Management.
  • Healthcare domain knowledge and experience with vendor management would be an added advantage.
