Overview

This position, reporting to the Group Director of Allied Health, plays a crucial role in supporting the Allied Health Council, which is dedicated to creating an integrated allied health workforce within NUHS to enhance the NUHS Care Plan. The role offers exposure to various Allied Health professions and their respective practice scopes and priorities across NUHS. Additionally, it provides Secretariat support to the Allied Health Council in areas such as strategy development, governance, culture, and professional development, all aimed at advancing the NUHS Care Plan in collaboration with Allied Health leaders and relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.

Job Descriptions

  • Schedule Meetings for the Allied Health Council
  • Oversee secretariat team to provide support to the Allied Health Council
  • Provide follow up support on open action items during the meeting
  • Provide direct support to members of the Allied Health Council to achieve the work plan objectives
  • Provide support to the Communities of Practice (CoP) convened by the Allied Health Council
  • Maintain Allied Health Council related platforms such as, but not limited to, intranet and internet sites
  • Provide support to Group Director, Allied Health
  • Any other duties assigned by Group Director, Allied Health

Job Requirements

  • Degree, preferably healthcare related
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in administration
  • Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Takes initiative and possesses strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and able to perform independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strict integrity standards in handling confidential matters
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Tact, discretion, and diplomacy to work with a diverse group from varying cultures
  • Well organized with good monitoring and follow-up skills within tight deadlines
  • Resourceful and comfortable in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong time-management and organization skills
