Job description

Duration: 9 months to 1 year

Location: Kent Ridge

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 6pm; Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Review set-up of research project accounts for compliance with reporting and grant terms & conditions
• Review maintenance of project accounts is in line with project variations
• Review grant claim for timely submission to funding agencies
• Review journal entries
• Provide financial advice and support to operating units
• Monitor research project accounts to ensure timely closure
• Liaise with auditors for timely certification of fund requisitions
• Support in other finance functions as and when required by the team

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or relevant
• Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good knowledge of SAP financial and project systems would be an advantage
• Be meticulous, resourceful with positive work attitude
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Mature and possess good interpersonal skills
