Your role as a Financial Services Tax Assistant Manager

You will assist with tax research and support the production of advice regarding tax technical matters, review and supervise preparation of tax computations/filings. You will participate in tax workstreams in relation to M&A transactions. In addition to preparation of proposals and presentations and assisting with business development.

In your role, you will be expected to understand the goals of internal and external stakeholders to set personal priorities as well as aligning your team to achieve objectives. You will build productive relationships and communicate effectively in order to positively influence teams and other stakeholders.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a Tax and Finance, Legal or Accounting background. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the financial services sector; however, this is not essential, as you will learn about financial services through both practice and training.
