About your role

The Assistant Manager, Financial Operations is responsible for the accounting and financial operations of Head Office which include oversees the Intercompany Account Payable function to ensure processing and payment of invoices within due date, Project System Controller, month end closing, GST submission/administration, as well as preparation of Budget/forecast/MTP, management Reporting and analysis.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee the daily operations for Intercompany Accounts Payables, including processing of invoices &proper accounting and capturing of all invoices in SAP system accurately and timely.
  • As Project System Controller to ensure proper functioning of system in SAP to facilitate management of project and A&P expenses, provide training & support event owners in the usage of system.
  • Involve in month-end closing activities including preparation & input of monthly journal entries, and preparation of month end & any other reports as required.
  • Participate in annual budget exercise and ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of forecast and annual budget/MTP, as well as provide analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of monthly mid month forecast, monthlymanagement reports, and perform analytical review of monthly financials to support management
    decision making.
  • Prepare Quarterly GST submission accurately and timely with compliance to GST regulations.
  • Ensure timely settlement of inter-company outstanding and follow up to resolve any payment issues.
  • Involve in system enhancement, and any other ad-hoc duties/assignments as required.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors in preparation for their audits.
What You need to be successful
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business or its equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in operational finance/accounting, preferably within an MNC environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion Systems
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Organized, self driven with positive attitude.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork.
  • Committed to meet tight closing & reporting timeline
