Job summary

Etiqa is seeking a dynamic team member to analyze and rectify NAV errors, manage compliance, and undertake financial reporting projects. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in finance or accountancy and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the life insurance sector. Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance or life insurance.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff is advantageous.
  • Ability to work within tight timelines.

SCOPE OVERVIEW

  • Perform analysis of portfolio exposure, performance and internal NAV

  • Rectify NAV errors, if any and follow up on error reporting and NAV correction

  • Review of NAV between Fund Administrator and investor reports

  • Timely and accurately posting of journal and ensure compliance to EIPL internal valuation policies and FRS109.

  • Monthly/quarterly/ yearly investment asset disclosure and reporting to Group.

  • Undertake projects (system enhancements, GL posting entries & UAT)

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of Finance Reporting and ILP Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in related fields (Accountancy/ Finance)

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Life insurance industry or custodian bank.

  • Candidates who have experience mentoring junior staff will be advantageous.

  • Able to work within tight timeline.
