Job description

Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of departments under Operation Shared Services, including facilities management, environmental services, security and carpark at SingHealth HQ. You will work closely with these departments and their stakeholders, performing cost allocations as you assist in the planning and development of cost recovery strategies for these services.

Additionally, you will provide accounting services and support to SingHealth Pharmacare and Singapore Cord Blood Bank. Leading a team, you will oversee timely and accurate accounting, reconciliation, claims reimbursements and reporting of all funded programmes for research, education, regional health and talent development.

You will also be responsible for supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting exercises for all aforementioned departments and areas. Additionally, you may be required to undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Deputy Director and/or Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with Chartered Accountant (CA) accreditation

• At least 6 years of relevant experience

• Good understanding of statutory and accounting reporting requirements, tax regulations and guidelines

• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

• Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel

• Independent, self-starter with ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Team player with the ability to manage cross-functional and institutional relationships
