Job summary

A prominent outdoor garden in Singapore is seeking an experienced event planner to manage their Calendar of Events. You will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of festivals and events that attract visitors. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in organizing community events, along with excellent communication and project management skills.

Job description

You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the Gardens’ Calendar of Events. The festivals and events will serve to attract new / repeat visitors through a year-round calendar of wide-ranging programmes, in an iconic outdoor garden setting. You will assist in the end-to-end planning and execution of events, forge key partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and promotion of the programmes, and provide administrative support to the team. You are a team player, with the drive to see through the successful fruition of Gardens’ festivals and events that will cater to the leisure needs of different segments of the population.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in relevant fields
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience with track record in organising community/outreach festivals and outdoor events.
  • Good knowledge of project management, including planning, execution and problem-solving skills
  • Good network with the festivals/arts/events industry
  • Experience with organising community/outreach events and programmes
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
