Job description


Location: Queenstown
Duration: 1-Year Contract (Renewable up to 2 years based on performance)
Salary: Up to $5,000/month

Key Responsibilities

1. Emergency Preparedness (EP) Equipment Management

  • Oversee budget and procurement for EP equipment and consumables
  • Collaborate with Biomedical Equipment Dept for maintenance, tracking, and deployment
  • Serve as Point-of-Contact (POC) for MOH audits and equipment reports
  • Review and evaluate hospital crisis equipment needs

2. Emergency Response Planning & Exercises

  • Review and integrate emergency SOPs with stakeholders
  • Organize monthly Fleet Test Exercises
  • Lead annual EP drills and training exercises

3. Integrated General Hospital (IGH) Planning

  • Participate in IGH Ops Centre workshops
  • Coordinate EP planning with medical, campus, and user teams
  • Develop procurement plans and ensure timely acquisition of EP items

4. Other EP-related Duties

  • Provide secretariat support for BCM Steering Committee meetings
  • Assist in MOH-related EP projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Min. 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry
  • Healthcare operations experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Team player with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
