Job summary

Gardens by the Bay is seeking an Education facilitator to join their team and support educational programmes that engage the community. The role involves curating activities, managing partnerships, and facilitating events, contributing to Singapore's vision of a City in a Garden. Candidates should possess a Degree and relevant experience in facilitation.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Degree and some experience in facilitation of educational programmes.
  • Clear and concise writing skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport with external partners.

  • Curate and manage regular drop-in activities in Flower Dome.
  • Extend scope of public engagement through new partnerships.
  • Manage educational programmes for children under Gardens Learning Fund.

Job Description

The Education team at Gardens by the Bay contributes to our People's Garden mission by planning, developing and implementing educational programmes for schools and the public to engage the community to explore the Gardens through unique and meaningful learning experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Curate and manage regular drop-in activities in Flower Dome, school holiday programmes
  • Extend scope of our public engagement by looking at new partners to co-organise workshops/ programmes in the areas of sustainability and biodiversity
  • Manage partners who co-organise educational programmes for children under the Gardens Learning Fund (one of Gardens by the Bay's CSR initiatives)
  • Facilitate programmes and events by government agencies
  • Support the team in organising and running our annual post-exam programme for schools with extended public elements

Qualifications

  • Possess a Degree, and have some experience in facilitation of educational programmes
  • Be able to write clearly and concisely
  • Be able to communicate effectively via email, phone calls and face to face interactions, and establish rapport with external partners
  • Be able to work on weekends (on a rotation basis)
