A leading insurance company is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their Distribution Support team in Singapore. The role includes managing the fit & proper assessment process for representative appointments, ensuring compliance with MAS RNF requirements, and liaising between candidates and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in Distribution Support, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our Distribution Support team, with a focus on the MAS Representative Notification Framework (RNF). This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end fit & proper assessment process for representative appointments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the fit & proper assessment process for representative appointments under the MAS RNF, including:
Evaluating candidate suitability and making recommendations
Identifying and escalating adverse findings
Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of documentation
Act as the key liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate:
Due diligence requirements and supporting documents
Funding schemes and Agency Agreement execution
Validation of Talent Transition Funding (TTF) packages
Generate and present regular reports and statistics on candidate appointments to Distribution Channels
Oversee periodic compliance checks and declarations:
Quarterly reviews for enhanced monitoring
Daily financial status monitoring
Annual self-declaration exercises
Support audit requests and contribute to process reviews for continuous improvement
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in any discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Distribution Support, with strong knowledge of MAS RNF requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Independent, proactive, and results-driven
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
