About the Role

The National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) is seeking a dynamic professional to work closely with the Assistant Director at the Division of Community Outreach and Philanthropy to develop and execute the development communications for Community Partnership’s campaigns for all levels of giving from digital and mass to major gifts.

Some of the Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee development communications including fundraising collaterals, appeal letters, stewardship reports
  • Craft the impact stories for Cancer Fund campaigns
  • Prepare annual reports for Cancer Fund
  • Assist with proposals and stewardship reports
  • Support communication strategy for social media channels and dissemination of media formats
  • Manage and plan marketing budget in consultation with the Managers of the various campaigns to improve donor giving and engagement
  • Assists the Assistant Director in the preparation for new capital campaign for NCCS Cancer Fund
  • Prepare management reports and budgets as necessary
  • Supports team members to achieve their goals, effectively utilizes team skills and knowledge by setting strong example of being a team player.
  • Builds collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively participates in Staff Training and Mentorship Programmes.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director

Job Requirements :

  • University Degree, or equivalent. Experience with fundraising will be considered an asset.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications with at least 5 years of communications and marketing experience
  • Experience working with Senior Volunteers and/or Committee Members
  • Experience working with Academic or Medical Leaders will be considered an asset
  • Possess an analytical mind with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to navigate a multi-layer organization structure and work towards objectives in an environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to think creatively and strategically
  • Able to balance competing priorities and tight deadlines
