Assistant Manager, Demand & Supply Planning

Primary Responsibilities

Demand Planning
- Develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan for a portfolio of products and customers, which also includes the full ownership of generating and maintaining Promotion Uplift Volume.
- Ensure the alignment of this Demand Plan with internal and external partners through the Monthly Business Planning and Collaborative Planning processes
Identify and manage exceptions, and monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances.
- Drives alignment of business assumptions across functions and uses them as an input to build robust plans. Uses analytics to provides visibility on future situation and alternate scenarios to support effective business decisions.

Supply Planning
- To manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that also takes into account the distribution costs.
- Analyze net dispatch requirements and prepare/maintain a coordinated set of supply and deployment plans of finished (or semi-finished) goods in order to meet customer demand within min/max stock corridors, whilst minimizing the total delivered costs (production, distribution and inventory costs), taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints.

4) Freshness of Stock & Bad Goods management

5) Support monthly business planning process

6) Support Event Management activities

7) Support Copacking activities

8) Collaborate with DSP manager to ensure Demand Planning best practises are implemented and adhered to.

9) Participate in supply chain efficiency projects

10) Timely preparation of all reports to facilitate meeting and action plan

Key Experiences

  • Min 5 years experience for Diploma Holder or Min 2-3 years planning experience for Degree holder
  • Proficient in the use of MS office preferably with experience in SAP and APO
  • Experience of SAP/OMP planning systems preferable
