Job summary

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services and driving the growth of our organization, be responsible for the clinical and professional development of our Allied Health professional team and optimize their daily deployment to meet client needs. You will also actively support the operations team in building strategic partnerships and executing marketing initiatives. This is a dynamic and multifaceted role requiring strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for excellence in rehabilitation care.

  1. Operation Management
  • Manage the daily scheduling and allocation of Allied Health professionals to ensure optimal patient coverage and efficient service delivery across various locations or programs.
  • Monitor therapist caseloads, productivity, and utilization rates, making adjustments as needed.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to disseminate information, address concerns, and promote engagement
  • Assisting Clinical Lead with performance appraisals on therapists and identifying opportunities for professional advancement.
  • Responsible for incident management including reporting, timely escalation and timely resolution where possible.
  1. Business Development
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, and DRC Clinical Lead to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with hospitals, clinics, community organizations, and other relevant entities.
  • Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, and outreach initiatives.
  • Participate in networking events, community outreach programs, and presentations to promote the organization's rehabilitation services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new programs and services to meet market demands and expand our reach.
  • Support the collection and analysis of data to measure the effectiveness of partnership and marketing efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Rrelevant certification with Allied Health professions is an advantage
  • At least 3 years working experience in team management in a community or eldercare services preferred.
  • Good understanding of Allied Health best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements is an advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient with LEAN operations and process improvements
