We are one of Singapore's largest exhibition organisers and the venue manager for Singapore EXPO, based in Singapore with a regional footprint in China and Malaysia. What it's like to work here

Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions, or MICE, is a vehicle for new businesses, partnerships and regional co-operation. We're privileged to have a front seat at the intersection of creativity, communities and collaboration, with a unique opportunity to connect a global eco-system of partners, businesses and consumers in the MICE industry daily. Our ambition is to become a global leader made in Asia, and Asia's top MICE company: A vision shared by our shareholders Temasek and Cuscaden Peak Investments.

We recognise the immense opportunity we have to lead with purpose, demonstrate leadership and commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices, and activate impactful networks for sustainable growth.

With about 200 employees we're a growing company with large aspirations to scale in the next five years. It can get intense and it will be messy at times. But few places can give you a seat at the table where you can contribute directly to the development of the business, the cultural DNA of an emerging MNC, and the building of a company proudly made and headquartered in Singapore with global business impact. And with two lines of businesses across events and venues, we provide opportunities for you to cross over from one to the other to build range in your career.

You don't need to have MICE experience to work with us. We're looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial self-starters with a strong sense of ownership, passion and curiosity, driven by our values of care, ownership, trust, passion and innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially astute, and intellectually curious Conference Producer to join our dynamic team. The Conference Producer is the intellectual engine of our events, responsible for the end-to-end development of commercially viable and impactful conference programs. This role requires extensive market research, content creation, speaker acquisition, and close collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the successful delivery and profitability of each conference.

  • Conduct in-depth primary (e.g., telephone interviews, in-person meetings) and secondary research to identify emerging trends, hot topics, and challenges within assigned industries/sectors.
  • Identify target audiences and their specific needs and interests.
  • Develop compelling and commercially viable conference agendas and program outlines that address key industry issues and attract senior-level delegates.
  • Write engaging and persuasive marketing copy for conference brochures, websites, email campaigns, and other promotional materials.
  • Identify, research, and recruit high-profile, industry-leading speakers, thought leaders, and experts from target organizations.
  • Negotiate speaker terms and manage all speaker communications, ensuring their smooth participation.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, associations, and media partners.
  • Manage the entire conference production lifecycle, from initial concept to post-event analysis, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and budgets.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales (for sponsorship and delegate acquisition), marketing (for promotional campaigns), and operations (for logistical execution).
  • Provide essential market intelligence and content insights to the sales and marketing teams to support their efforts.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to management.
  • Be present on-site during the conference to ensure the smooth running of the event, manage speakers, and address any unforeseen issues.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities and gather real-time feedback from delegates, speakers, and sponsors.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, History, Economics, or a research-heavy discipline.
  • 4 - 5 years of experience in conference production or a similar role requiring extensive research, content development, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven track record of producing successful, commercially viable conferences.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore and/or APAC business landscape is a plus.
