Position: Assistant/Manager, Content Production (4 months contract)


Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially astute, and intellectually curious Conference Producer to join our team. The Conference Producer will be responsible for developing impactful conference programs from start to finish, including market research, content creation, speaker recruitment, and collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful and profitable events.

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to identify industry trends, challenges, and hot topics.
  • Identify target audiences and their needs.
  • Develop engaging and commercially viable conference agendas that attract senior delegates.
  • Create persuasive marketing copy for promotional materials.
  • Research and recruit high-profile speakers and industry experts.
  • Negotiate speaker terms and manage communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, associations, and media partners.
  • Manage the conference lifecycle from concept to post-event analysis, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams for sponsorship, promotion, and logistics.
  • Provide market insights to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Prepare project updates and reports for management.
  • Oversee on-site event management and troubleshooting.
  • Facilitate networking and gather feedback during events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, History, Economics, or a research-heavy discipline.
  • 4-5 years of experience in conference production or similar roles involving research, content development, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven success in producing commercially viable conferences.
  • Understanding of the Singapore and/or APAC business landscape is a plus.
