Assistant Manager, Compliance & Reporting (Consolidation)

Durapower Technology (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Finance, Compliance & Reporting department. This role reports to the Associate Finance Director and oversees one accountant, focusing on compliance, reporting, and consolidation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks aligned with SFRS, IRAS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and enhance internal controls for audit readiness and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, including tax filings and GST.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely submissions.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and manage risk mitigation.
  • Prepare financial and compliance reports, including variance analyses and audit findings.
  • Monitor regulatory landscape changes and update practices accordingly.
  • Participate in ERP system implementation and training.
  • Streamline legacy accounting workflows with Navision functionalities.
  • Mentor junior finance team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CA).
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or wholesale trade.
  • Strong knowledge of SFRS, Singapore Companies Act, and IRAS tax framework.
  • Experience in audit and tax, including transfer pricing and cross-border tax issues, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, especially Microsoft Business Central, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous, results-oriented, and able to multitask under tight deadlines.
