Common Core Cluster Operations and Admin Centre (CC COAC) provides operations and administrative support to 2 schools: the School of Mathematics and Sciences (MS) and School of Life Skills and Communication (LSC).
MS offers programmes to support students and adult learners to excel in mathematics, analytics, statistics, sciences and IT in engineering, technology, and business courses. LSC anchors the common core and foundational modules taken by all SP students. The school is committed to develop critical & creative thinkers, confident communicators, and self-directed learners ready for life, work and the world.
The incumbent will be part of the CC COAC team which provides critical administrative support to the various functions for both MS and LSC at cluster level. He or she is expected to work closely with all levels of staff and the schools’ external stakeholders.
Responsibilities: -
- Provide comprehensive support for Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) students, serving as the main point of contact, coordinating onboarding and orientation, handling inquiries, and managing leave of absence and CCA point requests.
- Plan and execute student engagement initiatives, including events, surveys, and communication with class leaders and student chapters to enhance the overall PFP experience.
- Support in office administrative and logistical operations, such as maintaining student records, preparing internal reports, handling documentation, and managing booking of facilities and printing of test papers for assessments.
- Administer the student administration system to complete all academic business activities for the schools, including curriculum setup, student module and class registration, tests and examination processes and other related activities
- Understand SP Academic Business Rules to support and streamline academic business activities and processes
- Liaise with various teams within the Cluster and with other academic schools and departments to support and streamline academic business activities and processes
Requirements: -
- At least 4-8 years’ relevant work experience in systems administration and operations
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to analyse and check data for accuracy to complete error-free processing in student administration system. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and visualization applications such as Power BI.
- Knowledge/experience in student management systems/processes would be an advantage
- People-oriented with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-driven, independent and a team player with good event organization skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and visualization applications such as Power BI
Successful applicant will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
