General Description:
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Candidates from Freight forwarding, EXIM, or SaaS sales (relevant to our industry) background are preferred. This role also involves sales support functions, acting like a Key Account Manager (KAM) with additional responsibilities of liaisoning between internal and external teams, scheduling appointments, extended sales, and inside sales. Female candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver product knowledge and benefits to stakeholders & promote continuous product usage to accelerate sales volume.
- Build and maintain business relationships with clients.
- Generate new product ideas and enhancements to existing products.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with top and middle management of trade and business associations.
- Participate in product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing requirements.
- Utilize analytics, systems, and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.
- Present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
- Ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Gather qualitative feedback from clients, research reports, market trends, and statistics to improve products and customer service.
- Be the voice of the user and add value to user experience.
- Define and iterate the product, solve problems as they arise, and closely manage scope to enhance product value.
- Experience in the logistics workforce management field is a plus.
- Maintain project and implementation plans from start to end.
- Conduct demonstrations and presentations of new modules.
- Initiate new modules and expand existing modules to new locations.
