Job description:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Analyst to join our Strategy, Analytics, and Transformation team. Your role involves working closely with stakeholders to provide timely updates on sales performance and identifying actionable insights to grow the retail business. You will be part of exciting projects that leverage data and insights to help drive decision-making, streamline operations, and contribute to transformative projects that increase the attractiveness of Changi's travel retail proposition.

You should possess good analytical and communications skills while being a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills. You would be required to multi-task and work with tight timelines.


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide the team with data deep-dives and sales insights to identify opportunities and solutions to stakeholders to grow the business.
  • Develop dashboards to analyse and generate sales trends and insights for management reporting.
  • Undertake market research to deepen understanding of the commercial landscape and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Support transformation efforts through data-driven recommendations and change management support.
  • Assist in evaluating business processes and proposing optimization or automation strategies through the use of tools (e.g. PowerQuery, Python, etc.).


Job Requirements

  • Degree holder - preferably in Business/Data Analytics/Economics.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics and Sales Reporting is preferred. Candidates with no relevant experience are welcomed to apply.
  • Competence in MS Office software, especially Excel, is required.
  • Familiar with business intelligence tools (e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and advantageous to be well versed with programming tools (e.g. Python, SQL, etc.).
  • Analytical with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Good communicator who can clearly verbalise, write and present data across to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative and is detail-oriented.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
