The Brand and Business Development Assistant Manager (Housebrand) will be responsible for leading our brand’s category and portfolio strategy, and managing the commercial targets for brick & mortar and online channels. He/ she will also be required to:

  • Identify consumer needs/ insights, category trends, and commercial opportunities across different channels.
  • Lead in-depth analysis of sales data to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Define the growth and portfolio strategy for the categories he/ she is leading.
  • Develop and implement plans for new product / commercial innovations, including campaign and trade activities.
  • Drive growth, track performance, and achieve commercial targets for his/ her portfolio; manage A&P budget.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, channel, and agency partners.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with brand/ marketing experience at a FMCG company.
  • Business accountability on sales, market share, marketing spends.
  • Proven experience in brand/ business strategy, and integrated marketing.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, and partnering with media/ creative agencies.
  • Experience in trade marketing and working with supermarkets/ grocery chains is a plus.
  • Self-starter, resilient, able to deal with ambiguity, and react quickly in a fast-paced environment, can collaborate effectively across teams.
