Responsible for achieving monthly Body & Paint service revenue target.
Responsible to garner more service revenue in Body & Paint business.
Ensure claims and repairs are carried out in accordance according to MCF (Motor Claims Framework) guidelines and protocols set by GIA (General Insurance Association of Spore).
Motivate and maintain staff morale in order to meet these objectives and consistently deliver the best service and strive towards achieving Company’s objectives.
Responsible to investigate and respond to customers' letters/feedback together with the team involved.
Responsible for the quality of service and repair work as well as safety in the workshop in line with WSH framework.
Authorize pick up/delivery and courtesy car service where required.
Ensure close follow-up of credit debtors (credit customers and insurance companies) such that payment is received within the credit terms allowed.
Identify and improve the work process flow to set up a proper SOP.
Prepare monthly report in terms of vehicle intake, WIPs, outstanding ROs, roll-over vehicles, credit debtors & dept. performance turnover.
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in managing a mechanical/automotive workshop and leading a team. Experience in running a body and paint shop would be an advantage.
Ability to deal with customers and knowledge in administering Insurance Claims.
Good knowledge about cars and its components, paint and bodywork equipment, warranty processing.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
Good knowledge of workplace health and safety.
