About The Team

The Shopee COO Office drives business growth and efficiency by identifying improvement opportunities, tracking key metrics and implementing initiatives to boost commercial performance. Through analysis, benchmarking and industry research, they refine strategies, optimise processes, track performance and collaborate with local markets in Asia to improve performance and drive proactive growth strategies.


Job Description

  1. Identify growth and business economic improvement opportunities and lead initiatives that drive commercial results
  2. Research industry best practices and develop strategies to apply them at Shopee
  3. Align with commercial teams to optimise marketing, business development, and planning efforts
  4. Monitor performance metrics across Asian markets, identify gaps, and implement improvement plans in collaboration with local teams

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of full-time working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm
  3. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using both quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques, with a strong sense of curiosity and drive to uncover root causes
  4. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills—or a willingness to grow these capabilities in a dynamic setting
  5. Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with frequent change
