Job summary

A leading hotel in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for air-conditioning and refrigeration systems maintenance. You will ensure compliance with safety guidelines and conduct investigations on accidents. Candidates must have at least an ITE Certificate in Electrical & Electronics, with two years of relevant experience. A team player with good communication skills is preferred. This role requires performing rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assign responsibilities and resources for inspection, testing, repair and maintenance.
• Conduct root cause analysis of failures and malfunctions.

Job description

Assign responsibilities and resources for inspection, testing, repair and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems.

Maintenance of air-conditioning systems as well as refrigerator systems etc.

Recommend repair works and solutions to address equipment and system failures.

Structure maintenance, care of department tools, supplies and equipment etc.

Conduct root cause analysis of failures and malfunctions.

Ensure compliance with Hotel’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Management System (EMS) guidelines.

Conduct WSH and EMS accidents and incidents investigations.

Develop and review operational plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) periodically.

Ensure rules, regulations and guidelines are adhered.

Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as and when assigned.

Requirement:

Min. ITE Certificate in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience in similar capacity.

Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekend and public holidays.

Team player with positive work attitude.

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

Has good observation and pays attention to details.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
