Assistant Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

1. Electrical system maintenance.
2. Assign responsibilities and resources for inspection, testing, repair and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems.
3. Maintenance of air-conditioning systems as well as refrigerator systems.
4. Recommend repair works and solutions to address equipment and system failures.
5. Structure maintenance, care of department tools, supplies and equipment.
6. Conduct root cause analysis of failures and malfunctions.
7. Ensure compliance with Hotel’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Management System (EMS) guidelines.
8. Conduct WSH and EMS accidents and incidents investigations.
9. Develop and review operational plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) periodically.
10. Ensure rules, regulations and guidelines are adhered to.
11. Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirement:

1. Min. ITE Certificate in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
3. Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
4. Team player with a positive work attitude.
5. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Has good observation and pays attention to details.
7. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
