Amnet is seeking an experienced, hands-on Desktop / Workplace Engineer to oversee the deployment of end-user technologies as part of an office refurbishment project. The candidate will be responsible for managing the setup of desktop / workplace technologies, with seamless transition across multi-phase, user community moves. Scope includes hardware installation, configuration, troubleshooting & UAT.
Attributes & Job Description
Plan & execute the deployment of desktop systems and peripherals.
Collaborate with IT teams & Project Managers to ensure alignment with timelines / objectives.
Install, configure and test hardware / software components to meet user requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployment-related issues.
Document deployment processes, ensuring accurate records of installation & configuration.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices for IT deployments.
Train and support end-users in the use of new technologies and systems including coordinating UAT’s.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in computer science, information technology or similar.
Proven experience in desktop deployment and support, including campus installs across multiple business units.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail including documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Delivery within multi-national and financial services environment.

Salary Range: $3000 to $3800 with monthly mobile reimbursement claim max up to $80 and Corporate Grab/GoJek transport account for travelling related to work purposes.
