This position reports to the Manager – Regional Tender Management, Asia Pacific, and will work closely with the Senior HR Manager, Regional, in overseeing daily HR operations for the Singapore office.
This is a key role supporting the effective delivery of HR services including payroll, staffing, employee relations, training, and corporate HR initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to handle complex HR tasks independently while maintaining alignment with global standards and local compliance. The role involves close collaboration with HR and Admin teams across the Asia Pacific cluster.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior HR Manager in end-to-end HR operations including payroll processing, recruitment, onboarding, probation, and employee exit procedures.
- Coordinate the full employment lifecycle - contract administration, performance reviews, employee relations, and contract renewals.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of HR reports and maintain up-to-date employee records in line with corporate and statutory requirements.
- Administer employee benefits and compensation in compliance with Singapore labor laws and corporate guidelines.
- Organize and facilitate employee training programs, engagement activities, and performance appraisal exercises.
- Provide support for administrative operations related to office facilities and employee services.
- Conduct employee engagement and satisfaction surveys; analyze results and make recommendations for improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and policy interpretation.
- Manage employee grievances professionally and advise on appropriate resolution strategies.
- Organize team-building activities, staff functions, and employee recognition events to promote team cohesion.
- Review and implement compensation structures, update job descriptions, and conduct salary benchmarking and merit increase planning.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and the employee handbook in accordance with global HR strategies.
- Manage recruitment efforts for all levels including interns and temporary staff; conduct interviews and facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure HR compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and other applicable standards; maintain updated organizational charts and staff directories.
- Attend management meetings, industry seminars, and HR conferences; prepare meeting minutes and track HR trends and legislative changes.
- Oversee CPF contributions, income tax filings, and payroll-related submissions to relevant government agencies.
- Partner with line managers to identify training needs and deliver tailored learning and development programs.
- Liaise with government agencies (e.g., MOM) to stay abreast of labor regulations and ensure statutory compliance.
- Apply for government grants and submit claims related to family leave and other employment support schemes.
- Drive HR initiatives from Regional and Global offices and maintain relationships with professional HR associations and chambers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of generalist HR experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or a similar fast-paced industry.
- Proven expertise in payroll administration, recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy implementation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated integrity, initiative, and a proactive approach to HR problem-solving.
