Job summary

A leading hospitality group in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR professional. The role involves implementing HR policies, managing recruitment processes, conducting salary surveys, and fostering employee engagement. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years in HR, preferably in the hospitality sector, with a solid grasp of Singapore's employment laws. This position offers a chance to create a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with HR regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Ministry of Manpower's work passes and policies.
  • Meticulous and well-organized with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement HR Policies & Procedures, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Conduct and analyze salary surveys, participating in salary structure reviews.
  • Handle employee relations and engagement programs.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement HR Policies & Procedures. Monitor deviations and take corrective actions when required
  • Handle the recruitment, selection, appointment and on-boarding process
  • Handle exit management process
  • Monitor confirmations and administer the process for confirmations, promotions and transfers
  • Conduct, analyse and evaluate salary surveys with recommendations. Participate in the entire process of salary structure review and salary review exercise
  • Handle industrial accident cases. Process medical, specialist, dental and insurance claims
  • Administer leave
  • Plan & Implement Employee Relations & Engagement Programmes
  • Handle employee discipline issues and staff grievances with Department Heads
  • Implement the mid-year and annual performance appraisal exercise
  • Responsible for employee welfare programmes, internal and external staff recognition programmes and staff suggestion scheme
  • Ensure staff lockers are in good working condition. Ensure staff canteen is clean and monitor quality of food
  • Prepare HR Reports & Surveys
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good knowledge of the Singapore Employment laws and Ministry of Manpower's work passes, policies and guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous and well-organised
  • Minimum 5 years in similar capacity. Preferably in the hospitality industry
