Job description

Location: Senja Care Home

The incumbent will support the overall training and development function by identifying training needs and gaps to be addressed through planned training programs. This ensures employees are equipped with the right knowledge and skills for their tasks, career growth, and development. They will also work with government agencies to secure funding for training programs.

  1. Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify training gaps.
  2. Plan and implement training programs for employees.
  3. Manage the training calendar.
  4. Handle training administration, including:
  • Support logistics for internal and external courses.
  • Ensure timely registration and payment of courses.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Gather and analyze training evaluations for learning outcomes.
  • Process training grants and claims with government agencies (e.g., WDA, CCTP, CCMDA).
  • Administer training bonds.
  • Prepare and monitor training budgets and expenses.
  • Report on training expenses vs. budget quarterly.
  • Monitor claims submissions and funding.
  • Support industry collaboration and workforce development initiatives, including:
    • Career Conversion Programs & Return to Nursing Schemes.
    • Career Fairs and Learning Journeys.
    • Course Sponsorships, Scholarships, and Internships.
    • Employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
    Requirements:
    • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
    • At least 2 years of HR (Training & Development) experience.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Meticulous with a keen eye for details.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
