Job summary

A leading company in marine engineering, Borr Drilling, is seeking a Safety Project Lead to oversee safety inspections and manage risk on-site. The role requires a degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in shipbuilding or marine projects. Job description

Main Responsibilities :

  • To lead a project safety team to carry out special inspections on site and projects, identify hidden dangers / hazards and oversee rectification works, and manage risks in a timely manner
  • Review work permits, major work risk assessments, organize and implement emergency drill plans
  • Organize various safety meetings, generate reports, develop safety training plans and implement them
  • Provide professional expertise and conduct training for different positions based on the actual situation on site, and including safety training for new employees

Requirements :

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Shipbuilding / Marine Engineering / Project Management or its equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of working experiences in shipbuilding, marine engineering or project management experiences
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, planning execution ability, judgment and decision-making ability and organizational management ability
  • Good teamwork with sense of responsibility and strong ability to withstand pressure
