Assistant HR Manager (F&B industry, up to $6500)
Job Description:

Location: Town

Salary: Up to $6500 (with AWS and VB)

Reporting Manager: Senior HR Manager

Responsibilities

Partner Head of Departments and Restaurant Managers to align HR strategies and business goals

Partner internal stakeholders to support the day-to-day HR operations including but not limited to recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, disciplinary and grievances, Learning & Development, offboarding, etc

Manage all recruitment activities, manpower planning and generate costing report for your brand

Conduct regular workforce analysis to identify trends and recommend action plans to address gaps in productivity or morale, this includes regular outlet visits

Identify training needs, track records and coordinate with external training organizations

Support and advise internal stakeholders on all HR related matters including handling employee queries, grievance mediation, disciplinary action, etc

Maintain and ensure up-to-date employee data and records on the HR system

Drive culture change and establish HR best practices organisation-wide

Review and improve HR workflow, policies, and procedures for better efficiency

Ensure all HR practices are compliant with local labor laws and industry-specific regulations

Serves as an internal consultant to foster team collaborations and resolve differences, promoting high productivity, performance, and continuous improvements

Lead audits and reviews of HR processes to maintain operational excellence

Mentor and guide junior HR team members

Any other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fields

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or service industry with some managerial exposure

Experience with Infotech (HRIS) is an added advantage

Proactive, with excellent follow-through to achieve results under tight deadlines

Comfortable to work in a fast-paced working environment

A good team player and able to work under minimal supervision

Possess strong communication skills, time management skills and problem-solving abilities
