ASSISTANT HR MANAGER

Job Description:

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, and working closely with key stakeholders, you will play a critical role in the HR Transformation process of driving innovation and improvement for continued empowerment and support to safeguarding our most valuable asset - Our people.

Primary Focus Areas:

  1. Payroll
  2. Compensation & Benefits
  3. Total Rewards
  4. HR Reports

Secondary Support:

  1. Supervision of HR team
  2. Employee Life Cycle
  3. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  4. Employee Engagement
  5. Performance Management
  6. Any other HR Functional Area or Skill-Development Tasks as assigned by the HR Manager

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Statistics, Business Administration or Finance from a recognized institution
  2. Suitable for candidates with 3 to 5 years experience in Human Resources and looking for development and growth to HR Manager; strong generalist, payroll and total rewards experience
  3. An analytical and inquisitive mindset is critical; keen to explore and challenge the norms of HR
  4. Able to cohesively work in a strong, team environment as well as build, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Direct, related experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Total Rewards will be highly advantageous
  6. Knowledge and experience in HR & Payroll Systems will be good to have
  7. Genuinely high levels of attention to detail, with meticulous accuracy in analytics, calculations, figures and presentation
  8. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  9. Knowledge in Employment Act, IRAS, MOM, and Statutory Regulations
