Job description

Some key responsibilities, although not exhaustive, include:

  1. Handle the full spectrum of HR & Admin functions.
  2. Manage the recruitment process and ensure candidates fit the role and company culture.
  3. Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees, process probationary reviews, employee evaluations, and terminations.
  4. Utilize various recruitment tactics such as careers website, social media, job boards, headhunting, and LinkedIn to attract talent.
  5. Plan and develop Talent Pools to meet the requirements of the Hiring Plan.
  6. Assist in administering HR matters such as manpower planning, recruitment, compensation & benefits, and performance management exercises.
  7. Maintain records and compile statistical reports on personnel data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
  8. Design and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with corporate goals.
  9. Process monthly payroll, foreign levy, and tax-related matters.
  10. Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws.
  11. Administer employee compensation, training, and benefit programs.
  12. Serve as the point of contact for liaising with external vendors regarding HQ building and retail outlet facilities maintenance, including fire alarm systems, air conditioning, and renovations.
  13. Manage company insurance, including submitting claims and renewals.
  14. Oversee administrative affairs such as stationery inventory, license renewal, and CEO’s personal matters.

Requirements:

Technical Competencies:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the retail industry is required.
  • Required skills include Microsoft Office and Infotech.
  • Preferably an Assistant Manager or equivalent in Human Resources.
