Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant/Horticulture Manager in Singapore to lead landscape maintenance, manage contractors, and implement greening initiatives for sustainable green spaces.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least 3 years of horticulture/landscape experience, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, safety-conscious mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Landscape Management, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' horticulture or landscape management experience.
• Strong knowledge of tropical horticulture, tree management, pest control and sustainability practices.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets, contracts, and landscape enhancement projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all horticultural and landscape maintenance activities to ensure healthy, attractive, sustainable green spaces.
• Develop and implement landscape enhancement programmes, biodiversity initiatives, and beautification projects.
• Oversee landscape maintenance contractors and ensure KPI/specifications compliance and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscapes, trees, shrubs, turf, and planting beds; rectify issues timely.
• Plan and manage annual horticultural budgets, procurement activities, and contract administration.
• Monitor tree health, pest management, and landscape risks per best practices and regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, community partners, consultants, and government agencies on greening initiatives.
• Respond to landscape-related feedback and service requests; address operational issues.
• Drive sustainability and biodiversity initiatives, including water conservation and urban greening.
• Lead, coach, and develop the horticulture team to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health requirements and environmental regulations.
• Prepare management, inspection, and project update reports.
